Preparations are at an advanced stage for the Inaugural Annual All Arts and Entertainment Awards Dinner slatted for 17 December 2021 at Redcliff Hotel, this publication can report.

Running under the theme, Rising from the grassroots, the initiative is fronted by the Redcliff based brand All Arts Entertainment (AAE). The awards dinner has been created to appreciate, reward and motivate artists, content creators and contributors in the Arts and Entertainment Industry of Redcliff and Midlands province at large.

One of the organisers, Admiral ‘Malfoe’ Mwale who is the All Arts Entertainment Director hinted that the awards dinner which is youth centered, is not only intended on marketing the brand, AAE, but to also appreciate and reward hard workers at grassroots up to provincial level.

“It has long been in our plans to create the coming awards dinner to the Redcliff community but the way the organisation and the brand is growing, we have reached places and we are now known in many provinces. We are working flat foot to boost the capacity and goals we have pegged only for Redcliff youngsters.
Amongst many reasons, the main agenda of this programme is to acknowledge and appreciate those who have been working hard this year in the area of arts and entertainment and honor them for such dedication.” Said Malfoe.

The organisers also target to inspire other artists, those who desire to venture into the industry to work hard in the future to come since they plan to go beyond this year with the project. The event will be an ongoing annual initiative.

The adjudicators and organisers will select the nominees in various categories that includes Best Artist(S), Film and Television, Dancing, Music Production, Content Creation and Modelling category to mention a few. Those who are outstanding will be rewarded with prestigious awards. The initiative is done to uplift and motivate all upcoming artist and well established artists to create more and be creative till they create brands for themselves such as the famous BLAQS production, Chillspot records amoung others.

AAE brand has of late been doing great with Resplendence Modeling Agency winning big at the just ended Mr and Miss Kwekwe pageant held at King Solomons Hotel where 19-year-old Mitchell Anotida Chimeramombe also known as ‘Dope Kid’ did well and will also be one of the bright faces who will be on the awards dinner.

“I feel honoured and grateful to be crowned Miss Kwekwe 2021. I was shocked the moment I was announced as the Queen but at the same time I was not really surprised because I have always believed in myself, with the hard work we have been putting on at Resplendence, I knew I was going to take the gong home.

AAE Awards, I believe will be a major breakthrough for Redcliff and Kwekwe and I am looking forward for it,” she said.

Redcliff based versatile Music Producer Takudzwa ‘Young T, the Playmaker’ Sithole applauded the organisers of the upcoming initiative as a window and stepping stone upon which young rising artists should make use of since they hardly make it in the Harare dominated Arts and Entertainment Industry.

“This upcoming really means a lot to me and the town as a whole. Awards make people who are in the industry work more serious and harder because at the end of the day one gains exposure and get recognizable.

I believe it is the first big movement being done in Redcliff and Kwekwe at large, it will surely help those who do Arts in Kwekwe as a whole, Redcliff inclusive because we are actually lacking unity so these Awards are also a uniting platform for us as musicians and other content producers,” explained Playmaker.

Redcliff Mayor Councilor Clayton Masiyatsva will grace the event.
